So, yupp, I broke my finger. How? Trapped it in a car door. Second time in my life this has happened to me, and I have to admit, I cried a whole lot more the first time. See, I'm manly and tough now, and also eleven years older, but that's just minor details. =D. Which finger, and where? (These are not questions I've been asking myself, they're the ones asked by others when they learn of my unfortunate Tuesday, yes it happened Tuesday October 12) It's left index, tip. It actually looks mega gross right now, I won't freak you out with details but it's starting to cause concern, so to the nurse on Monday to see if it needs chopping off, happy days for all! Yayness!
New doggie! =D. Wolfi Junior is now an official member of the family and a pain in the ass, so he fits right in. From the initial introduction him and Sheaba didn't get along all the great, so we came up with a ploy, or even a scheme. Let's call it a scheme, more fun then. We built a fence running along the centre of the back yard (I will show you a picture sometime, and also a picture of the hole he made in it >.<). Wolfi was to go on one side, and Sheaba the other. Then after evening walks and feeding, Sheaba would be brought into the house to sleep, and Wolfi would have the run of the whole yard and sleep outsside. Yeah, didn't go quite to plan. The fence didn't separate them for too long. He dug and bit and pushed with brute strength (He's a BEAST! Towering over my 5'3" on his hind legs, scary stuff I'm telling you) and got out, walked up to Sheaba freaked her out a bit and then ate her food. Not good. After many failed attempts at fixing the fence we've brought Sheaba in, and he gets to run and be free and do whatever dogs do during the day until we come up with another solution. Sheaba isn't impressed because he's in her space, the cats aren't impressed because they're too scared to go outside, the boys aren't impressed because Sheaba keeps ruining their games. Basically, no one is impressed and it kinda sucks.
What sucks even more is the latest news from the vets about Sheabs. Her spondilosis (Me thinks that's how it's spelt) has gotten worse =(. She's on these tasty tablets (I say tasty cos I don't have to shove them down her throat to get her to take them, she loves them!) for the pain, and this omega stuff for her joint, and special mega expensive dog food too. All we can do is make her comfortable and happy cos there's no cure for it. It's frightening seeing the severity of the deteriation in her in just 11 months, and she's really looking her age now.
Kitty cats are as crazy as ever. The two younger ones are growing up great and have actually turned into some awesome cats. They all know how to sit on comand now. =D. And Dexter has a new t.v. The fish tank downstairs has one of those clam bubble air thingys in, you know what I mean, well yeah, he sits in front of it, and just watches the bubbles go up the whole day. He's still quite pervy though, trying to follow me into the bathroom when ever he can. >.<
BEDROOM!! So, been sleeping on a mattress for the past couple of weeks, can't say it's been too bad, but I kinda miss sleeping in a bed. We order a bed, but it happened to be the wrong one, so took it back, ordered another and waited a week for it to arrive. It arrived yesterday. So I just gotta finish painting my walls, swap wardrobes, do laundry and I can possibly sleep in a real bed tonight!! You'd think that'd actually make me do it, right? Well, nope, I'm sitting here distracted and procrastinating. Damn it!!
Haven't taken any recent pictures, so will get to that soonlyness =). Toodles for nowsies.
