My last post was, to be honest, AGES ago. For that, I apologise. Stuff has happened. As you would undoubtedly expect it to. If you recall, Dixon one of my three cats had run away just before Christmas. It appears he has returned. I am, however, not fully convinced it's him. Dixon was house trained, this young man is most definitely not. He resembles him, and has similar characteristics, including enjoying a shower, but there's just this niggling little thing that's telling me it's not him, and some imposter is trying to take his place. Sam and Dan are convinced, and if they're happy let him stay. He just won't be sleeping on my bed again any time soon.

College is being a bit shite. I'm all sick. My immune system sucks. It's so broken. The first week back, I managed to catch some form of stomach bug. It's now the second week back and I have some horrible flu. I can't seem to shake it, and haven't been able to take any time off because it's been kinda an important week. Stuff to do and whatnot. And now, I have work all weekend, which I can't afford not to go to, or I'll be broke til next weekend =(. Anyhow. Why is college being shite? Because we're meant to be doing this documentary thing for the Airoplane people, and no one seems to know exactly what's going on, and the students and lecturer from their side are pretty much thinking that we're documenting their entire build for them when it's really meant to be like a 4 week thing. They also asked us today to do some PR work for them. We're most definitely not PR students, and if we wanted to do any form of PR we'd have enrolled in a PR course. It's just a bit annoying overall. That and Computer Animation is hurting my head. I hate PDF documents now. With a passion. >.<
Other cat news for Mr. Pirate Dave, who's actually Mr. Scandinavia now on account of him leaving us all for the winter wonderland that currently is Finland. There isn't really any. Dexter and Daisy are just moping around the house a bit due to the return of Dixon. Dexter is actually currently curled up beside me with his head resting on my arm watching me type. He's an odd one, that's for sure.
A good thing actually did come out of today. I got some pictures taken. Haven't done that in a while. They're of airplanes, and are pretty cool. We actually have a hanger in college. Who'da thunk eh? So yup, shall be throwing a few of those up here too.
Oh, and I joined Tumblr for Jayney. I'll put a link up for that too. Other than that, nothing more to really report back. But shall really have to start blogging more regularly from now on.
Toodles =).

Dixon ran away. He's been gone for over a week now. And I miss him. A lot. We think it might be because of his run-in with Wolfi. Stupid mutt. I don't think he's dead, I just think someone has taken him in and did the really douchey thing of keeping him, even though it's blatantly obvious he has a family: collar, and the apparent recent trip to the vets. Assholes.
Spent the first week off college installing a kitchen. It's been horrible. We were without hot water for almost 4 days, which meant no shower. Thank god I wasn't working, or had places to be. Our living room resembles a utility storage room, our kitchen looks like a carpenters workshop, and it's Christmas in 2 days and we have no oven or hob. Or Christmas tree. So I guess I'm not feeling the festive cheer as of yet. Things aren't totally bad. We won't be without Christmas dinner. Going to Greystones for the holidays.

Everyone in the house is sick (Man, this blog is just depressing). Ethan threw up all over Daisy last night, so I had to give her a bath. There was water EVERYWHERE! And this morning, after being all nice and clean she rolls around in sawdust in our workshop/kitchen. Sheaba acting all odd because of the industrial noise. And Wolfi is just insane.
Maybe this is all a dream. I'll wake up Christmas morning and the house will be perfect and everyone super happy? Yeah, right like that'll happen.
Good news though. My uncle had his baby. =). A little boy. So the family name can live on. Unless he's gay, and then we're all fucked. xP.
Tristan was in the school play yesterday! He was mega cute! A shepherd. XD. And it was all in Irish! He's such a legend.

Nothing else really to say. The snow is back. =). Not enough to make an igloo with yet though.
It's honestly been one hell of a week.
I was away in Galway last weekend visiting the Junior World Powerlifting Champion himself (yes, ladies and gentlemen, I'm on more than first name terms with him xP). Was funsies. I like Galway. Wanna go back before Christmas to see it all be pretty, but alas work hates me so prolly won't be able to. =(.
Rightio. Got back from Galway Sunday afternoon, and had work 3 hours later. S'all goods, right? Not really, no. The boss man was already kinda pissed at me for not being able to cover someone elses shift on the Saturday and made those 3 and a half hours a living hell. I didn't know you could cut onions so small! >.<. Before I went to work I checked in on the cat faces. Wasn't really difficult to miss Dexter's, as half of it was twice it's normal size! He had this mouth ulcer for a while, and I was keeping an eye on it, and all seemed fine was clearing up and what not. But whatever happened over those 3 days made it all infected and swollen. He went to the vets the following day to get it checked out. Mr. Vet said it was some sort of infection, because he had sores going down the back of his throat too. Gave him a few shots, handed us pills; 1 twice a day for 7 days, and bring him back next week and everything should be fine. As he was finishing up, he says, oh, it might be FIV (Cat AIDS, yes, it's real) and there's a possibility he'll need to be euthanized. Thanks Mr. Vet!
THANKFULLY! He's all better. The swelling went down in days, and the sores have all cleared up, and he was a little trooper taking those tablets. Still a bit tender but he's fine. Sleeping on my bed right now actually. =).
Rest of the week went oki. Saw HP 7.1 TWICE! (I'm cool like that =D). And worked a whole load. But yay monies =D. Made a website in 10 minutes in Dorel's class and now have to make a fan site for Ben face and the World Champion himself. Better start cracking on them soon.
SO! Yesterday was probably really really lame. Started off amazingly! Woke up to snow! SNOW! EVERYWHERE! So happy! XD. Sam and me had planned to go to Newbridge so she could get a dress for her Christmas party which is next Saturday (I'm her plus 1, and it should be fun.). We got there about 10ish, and about an hour later got a call from Dan saying Junior, Dixon and Sheaba had a big scrap out the back, but presumably they were all oki dokes. We didn't really think much of it, because Dan had said they all seemed fine. When we got home after 3 we checked on Dix and he was in a bad way. No physical wounds, all internal. Took him to the vet straight away and he was pretty much just rushed away from us. They put him in an oxygen tank, sedated him, and did some x-rays. Junior had fractured his ribs, and one of his lungs was punctured as a result. They couldn't tell if it was a small puncture or a large one. Only time could pretty much tell. They drained off the air and kept him in overnight and said they'd get back to us. Chances were pretty 50/50 on whether he'd make it through the night. They rang this afternoon and he's doing ok. =). No more air had leaked out, so the puncture was only small and presumably healed itself over. His breathing is ok considering his ribs being crushed. He's not in the all clear yet, but his odds are good. He's staying in the vets for a few nights for observations and what not. But they say he's a fighter (Which we already knew). They'll keep us updated on his condition but as it stands things seem to be ok. =D. Daisy is missing him lots though, and every time the front door is opened she's standing there waiting for him to come in. Silly kitty. He should hopefully be home soon and we'll all be happy out. =).
Pictures:Dix and me watching The Nightmare Before Christmas on Friday night. =). (Bad quality, taken with web cam on my lappy.)
So, yeah, things are all kinda lame. It's mostly my own fault, I should really stop leaving all my college work to the last minute, like a Tuesday night. I mean, you'd think I'd learn when things got pretty close with that web assignment, but nope. Here again, this time there's a Gantt chart (They suck balls) and rationale about said Gantt chart, third draft of a treatment and 5 giant posters to make, all due tomorrow. When I did I find out about all this? Oh last Wednesday! Know why I hadn't got any of it done til now? Two reasons, procrastination (It's a bitch) and because I still hadn't watched Hostage. Can't start a new assignment without finishing the old, eh? =P.

And instead of doing all this college work, I'm actually typing out this blog. Yay for late nights, early mornings and no breakfast. -.-

Interesting stuffs... Went to that new GIANT Tesco today. Quite impressive. Fairly sure you can fit a whole town in there. It's gonna be my first stop in the event of a zombie uprising, Dawn of the Dead style. Awh yeah! xD. I made a website, that's pretty cool eh? It's just for college, so no URL for you guys. =P. And yeah, I think I'm out of interesting stuff. I did have a whole load of stuff I was gonna write about, but now I can't remember any of it. I really should start writing it all down. Oh well.

I'll just leave you with a few pictures from our last production: Red Bull, it gives you wings!
And now to go grumble about how much I hate college right now and how much I actually want to dye my hair. Fuck you college.
Oh, cats are all doing swell P.D. (I don't even know if he reads this anymore o.O)
S'laters. =)
You've guessed it, I'm working tomorrow night, which means my weekend plannage of heading out of town was foiled! Damn you swapping my shifts and giving me less hours. =(.
I suppose this is a wee bit of a blessing in disguise, I'm saving money, not worrying about getting so wasted I forget how amazingly strong I am and punch someone through a wall again (Oh yeah, I'm that person) and can get my website started (still haven't, but sure, it's only Saturday night). I did do a little bit of Halloween-ey stuff today. Such as carving pumpkins. =D. And when asked my opinion upon someone's purchases, I told them to chose the Helloween C.D over whatever other thing they were gonna buy. (You're welcome Wench! =D).
Newsie? Ehm I guess you'd think there would be some sort of stuff to tell you considering I haven't posted in a while. But, I actually cannot think of anything... Oh! I'm the student rep thingy for all the board meetings. I have my first one on Tuesday, scary stuffs! =S. Should be grand though. Though I'm kinda worried about having to ask them for a condom machine specifically for our course. According to Dane we need one, and my arguements were pretty mute compared to his... Yeah... OH! I finished my room, kinda, almost. The bed is made, walls painted that kinda thing. Just gotta get all my junk outta boxes and put places and put up curtains and get rid of the ladder. Should be done in about a week or so =P.

CATS! *sigh* I seem to talk about them at length now. Maybe Dave is right, maybe I am a crazy cat lady >.<. Well, they's all doing well. Dexter is obsessed with the fish tank downstairs. It's like crack to him or something. Spends the entire time just hanging out in front of it, and every time you move him, he hops straight back up. I've just given up on him. One day he'll come home wearing some form of hemp clothing, and I won't need to ask questions.
Protesting next Wednesday. I art a rebel at heart =). S'all in the name of stopping them hiking student fees. Someones gotta do it, right? Should actually be a pretty good day. It'll be raining though. Note to self, buy a new umbrella! Darn that Kenny for breaking the sheep one! >.<
Pictures! XD. First is obviously a pumpkin. =D. Second is the beast of a dog Wolfi Jnr. Finally have a picture of him online. Yay for team Kayla. And third is the three cats on my bed. You can see the colour of my walls there too, and just guess the size of the room. My bed takes up most of the space -.-
Ahh forgot to mention... I joined Twitter cos of Shelly. Lucky Shelly =D. Here, follow if yooh likes =). www.twitter.com/kaylalilone
So, yupp, I broke my finger. How? Trapped it in a car door. Second time in my life this has happened to me, and I have to admit, I cried a whole lot more the first time. See, I'm manly and tough now, and also eleven years older, but that's just minor details. =D. Which finger, and where? (These are not questions I've been asking myself, they're the ones asked by others when they learn of my unfortunate Tuesday, yes it happened Tuesday October 12) It's left index, tip. It actually looks mega gross right now, I won't freak you out with details but it's starting to cause concern, so to the nurse on Monday to see if it needs chopping off, happy days for all! Yayness!
New doggie! =D. Wolfi Junior is now an official member of the family and a pain in the ass, so he fits right in. From the initial introduction him and Sheaba didn't get along all the great, so we came up with a ploy, or even a scheme. Let's call it a scheme, more fun then. We built a fence running along the centre of the back yard (I will show you a picture sometime, and also a picture of the hole he made in it >.<). Wolfi was to go on one side, and Sheaba the other. Then after evening walks and feeding, Sheaba would be brought into the house to sleep, and Wolfi would have the run of the whole yard and sleep outsside. Yeah, didn't go quite to plan. The fence didn't separate them for too long. He dug and bit and pushed with brute strength (He's a BEAST! Towering over my 5'3" on his hind legs, scary stuff I'm telling you) and got out, walked up to Sheaba freaked her out a bit and then ate her food. Not good. After many failed attempts at fixing the fence we've brought Sheaba in, and he gets to run and be free and do whatever dogs do during the day until we come up with another solution. Sheaba isn't impressed because he's in her space, the cats aren't impressed because they're too scared to go outside, the boys aren't impressed because Sheaba keeps ruining their games. Basically, no one is impressed and it kinda sucks.
What sucks even more is the latest news from the vets about Sheabs. Her spondilosis (Me thinks that's how it's spelt) has gotten worse =(. She's on these tasty tablets (I say tasty cos I don't have to shove them down her throat to get her to take them, she loves them!) for the pain, and this omega stuff for her joint, and special mega expensive dog food too. All we can do is make her comfortable and happy cos there's no cure for it. It's frightening seeing the severity of the deteriation in her in just 11 months, and she's really looking her age now.
Kitty cats are as crazy as ever. The two younger ones are growing up great and have actually turned into some awesome cats. They all know how to sit on comand now. =D. And Dexter has a new t.v. The fish tank downstairs has one of those clam bubble air thingys in, you know what I mean, well yeah, he sits in front of it, and just watches the bubbles go up the whole day. He's still quite pervy though, trying to follow me into the bathroom when ever he can. >.<
BEDROOM!! So, been sleeping on a mattress for the past couple of weeks, can't say it's been too bad, but I kinda miss sleeping in a bed. We order a bed, but it happened to be the wrong one, so took it back, ordered another and waited a week for it to arrive. It arrived yesterday. So I just gotta finish painting my walls, swap wardrobes, do laundry and I can possibly sleep in a real bed tonight!! You'd think that'd actually make me do it, right? Well, nope, I'm sitting here distracted and procrastinating. Damn it!!
Haven't taken any recent pictures, so will get to that soonlyness =). Toodles for nowsies.

First week of college; done. Happy face!It wasn't too bad to be honest. Could have been much worse. It's all really about the timetable though. It's just a bit of a pain in the ass coming in for 2 hours on a Monday and Tuesday. I know I have to, it's just feeling like a waste of a day, cos after those 2 hours I'm stuck waiting around 'til 5 for the bus home again. But sure, no use complaining, I'll just get used to it. =).One of our modules is Web design. We went through a bit of basic HTML today, so I'm putting it to some use, and instead of just typing this out normally, I'm using the "Edit HTML" function, and actually typing in the tags. Go team Kayla!!
Finally got some pictures onto this machine! Hurrah! Have a few I wanna upload, so this will mostly be about them. It's to make up for the lack of pictures in the last few posts.Enjoy =)

So, from top to bottom; The first one is a silhouette of Mr. T and his not so famous brother Mr. E behind that water fall thing in the Guinness Storehouse. That was their favourite part of the entire tour, well apart from drink juice and eating "Love Hearts" in the Gravity Bar.Next is Dexter and Daisy. She is so tiny compared to him. This was taken on Dexter's day of hunting butterflies. I had to keep rescuing them from him. Then there's Daisy on a plant pot. She was exploring the front yard while Dexter was stalking some prey. One of my favourite pictures, the three of them curled up together sleeping. They do this quite often now, but I never seem to get a chance of snapping them while they're all still asleep, something always wakes them after I get the camera. And finally, Dixon, posing. He's very sweet. He purrs as soon as you pick him up, and is always ready for cuddles. He constantly falls asleep on my lap, or sits on my shoulder while I'm using my laptop.Hope that's made up for the lack of pictures from the last few posts. =)Until next time.
