Jam and Bread, Cosy Socks and Dexter Cuddles.

These (see title) are the cure to a long day at college. =)

To be honest, the day didn't go as bad a I had originally thought it would. I mean, who wouldn't think a 9-5 full timetable is bad?! But no, maybe because it was the first one, or because there wasn't a lot of us in today, or just because it's not that bad and I was preparing myself for the worse? Anyone of these excuses will do for me, I'm just very content right now eating my bread, with Dexter curled up on my lap keeping me warm. I knew cats would be useful around here =P.

I haven't really done an update for Pirate Dave on Dexter in a while, so I think I'll do one now. He got his first ever shots the other day. He was actually more annoyed about being put in the cat carrier and the vet man-handling than the actual needle jabbing process. When I got home from college, however, he ran up to me looking for cuddles. He only does that if I've been away for a night, or a few days so he was obviously feeling a bit unloved. I can't imagine what he's going to be like after we get him neutered.
We've come to the conclusion that he's a guard cat. He sleeps in my room, at the end of my bed, or above my head. A few nights ago, somone woke up at about 4am and decided to go on a wonder around the house. Dexter heard them and woke me up my pawing and nibbling on my elbow, and then when I had awoken he paced up and down in front of the door. I knew it was just someone in the house who got up to get a drink or something, because Sheaba hadn't made a sound, so he gets a silly cat for that act. On the plus side, it's a nice quality for him to have in the event of a real incident. If the dogs don't get 'em, the cat sure will. xP

Nothing more to report on the Wofly Jnr. side of things, though we should be getting him shortly.

Again, no pictures. Been MEGA busy so haven't really taken any new ones, but also still have transferred any over from the other PC. I'm working tomorrow night, so hopefully I'll get around to it on Friday. If I don't, you can shoot me, or something =P.
